is there a way i can make stairs that are like doors?
not just sitting there in the middle of the floor?

Sure. You can edit the tile for the stairs.

What? You mean a door that will take you to a passageway/different floor? Yeah, this is how. It's simple. Depending on what tileset you're using, there might be a staircase door (if it's original LoZ, no. You can always customize a staircase door.) Set the door type to wall, then place your custom door combos on where you want on the wall. The stairs will cover up the "wall," unlike a "passageway" or "locked" door, which will cover it up (if it is where the "passageway" or "locked" door would be, that is, the center of the wall). Set the blue/green and the tile warp.
