What happened to the selector for the skins? Its not showing in the User CP or in any other place that I can see. I'm not really a fan of the standard VB skin...

No kidding, I've grown very attached to Classic Black, this white strains the eyes.

Someone probably did some kind of vB update, I'm sure themes will be back soon enough.

A temporary solution is to make your windows scheme colors darker and then tell your browser to use your system colors when rendering web pages. That's what I do. Every web page I visit has the exact same cool, dark color scheme.

fuck the google ads. that shit can go on the header or footer of the damn main index. like gdorf, i'm all for revenue, but come on, having it right next to all the forums is shoving that garbage down our throats...

I agree. It should be moved somewhere else too. I also liked having the forum stats and stuff up top, but now its all on the right, and squished up into one tiny box. Also, the Who's Online thing was better at the top. I don't feel like scrolling all the way down to the bottom just to see who's on.

EDIT: At least we don't have things like some forums I've seen have. They have actual ad robots come and post in threads. Its EXTREMELY annoying, so I guess we should be glad that we don't have those things invading every thread on the forums.

I'm upraded the forums and added a quick right-hand box.
I will be restoring themes and modifying where the google-ad code is when I get home this evening.

Classic Black is back,
Changing your postbit template from top to left was a hack we had implemented. I'll see about restoring it when I finish some other stuff.

It seems that the arcade is broken when using Classic Black right now, so I guess if we're planning on playing anything in the arcade, we'll have to use the default skin for now.

awesome that something actually happened to the boards here... maybe some of the errors like unable to post in IE etc. have been fixed? also... has the bug where every so often all the new posts get marked as read been fixed?

Hm. I hadn't realized that until I actually get to looking at a few of them. I just changed my profile at roughly the same time all this is happening, so I didn't notice anything.

I think many of them were simply wiped.

bh4 - there used to be 2 sets of the 2 buttons below... now there isnt. (2 sets of the "post quick reply" and "go advanced")

You are able to once again select which postbit style you prefer. Either the info at the top (default), or the info on the left (classic).
I've also re-added the Mario coin to show when someone is a premium member.

One thing I just noticed about Classic Black again: The "Arcade Options" section of the User CP is missing, but shows in the VB3 Skin.

Classic Black is also missing the arcade trophy icons that show up next to names if a person has trophies.
