What is enhanced music, on 2.11(obviously)?

It's not fully implemented yet, instead of using Midis, with this feature you can use .mp3 and other enhanced music formats, this is already possible by using tracker music (On Dmap menu) but you have to place the music file on the same folder as ZC, Enhanced music may be the same except that the music files will be embeddable to the .qst file.

So will this work when 2.11 officialy comes out?

Probably on one of the future betas, could be the next (doubtful), the only thing I'm certain is that this will work on the official 2.11 release. ;)

You sure about that? According to the help file, HS Bridge was in 1.92, but wasn't implemented, and it wasn't in 2.10, either.

OK, maybe not, but there's no point in worrying about this right now.

You can use .mp3 files in a quest but they suck (They generally play quiet, and you have to let the player download the .mp3's with your quest)

Just go to T music in the dmap editor to check this out in 2.10, im pretty sure this was in 183 too

I will try that. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the volume for mp3 files in Zelda Classic relies on your default mp3 player, so you need to turn up your computer's mp3 volume to get it louder in ZC.

You mean like windows media player?

I mean, open up the volume control panel (I can do so by double-clicking the Volume icon on the taskbar), and adjust the volume underneath where it says "Wave/MP3." That should change the volume of the MP3s playing in ZC.

but rakki... sound effects is controled from the same slider in windows volume control.

but then again you could increase volume in windows volume control and then decrease sound fx volume in zc.

Ine tried it on 3 computers and on all it tends to be quiet, even with full volume up on everything (But the speakers on all of them were quiet =/)

So? You CAN turn the sound effects down, you know. In ZC I mean. Just, the music level doesn't effect MP3 files.

And, Zelda_Warrior, if this was 2.10 you were trying this in, then it might be your computers, because ALL music in version 2.10 was EXTREMELY quiet for me on my old Windows 98 computer. It's actually loud enough for me to hear on this computer though, a Windows XP. There's some kind of bug with the volume controls in 2.10 that I think older computers can't adjust it.

Just set all your midis to volume 144 then the mp3 and midi volumes will be about the same, then you can set the overall level with your slider.

All 3 computers iI tried on were older computers, too.

But the midis were actually on the loud side, with a volume of 155, but the mp3 had a full volume and was quiet. (I don't like 144 so i set it to 155 lol)
