A very interesting article about Tetris: The Grand Master (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris:_The_Grand_Master). This is the variant of Tetris that the person is playing, which apparently has had a pretty big influence on how modern Tetris is played. It was only released to arcades in Japan, unfortuniatly, though you can see bits and pieces of the gameplay mechanics in later Tetris games such as Tetris Worlds and Tetris DS.
