I am finally going to get away from the shithole store I call Kroger. After working there for almost four years and hardly making what I should I am moving to a much MUCH better job.

I applied to the distribution center at the Abercrombie and Fitch main office in New Albany, Ohio and had my interview this morning. I got the job and I start May 8th. It's an easy job and I am getting paid $9.80 an hour plus over time starting in June when it gets really busy.

Going from $7.50 and 20 hours a week to $9.80 and 40+ hours a week is NICE!

Just felt like posting it.

Great job! :thumbsup:Congrats dude! Hope you do well at you're new one.
I know when I moved from my job in excavating paying $9 an hour to technical analyst at $15 an hour, I was very, very happy. And still am.:)

I am actually going to be able to pay my bills and still have some money left over. It will be nice to be able to go out and do things now.

Nice job, man. :) (In every sense of the word. :p ) Wishing you a lot of enjoyment on it.

On a side note, Physical Therapist Assistants make $25 an hour, and the jobs are very readily available.

Thanks everyone.

First things I am doing after I get a few paychecks is paying whats left of my credit card and buying a new monitor 20" widescreen lcd for my computer. After that I plan on saving the majority of it and keeping some to put toward a nice mountain bike. Screw those wal mart rip off versions, $558 with coils and a nice lightweight frame.
