Is there a way that I can actually make NPC's move around the screen?

If you're using 2.10 or under, you'll just have to use combo cycling, which will take quite a bit of work. If you're using the 2.11 beta though, you can use Freeform Combos. Here's (http://www.armageddongames.net/showthread.php?t=90953) a link to a topic explaining how to use them.

I'm just going to wait until it officialy comes out. ( I have dial-up and it would take forever to download.)

Yes, combo cycling NPCs to move can get very tedious if you want them to move smoothly. I'm not even sure what freeform combos are (I prefer to wait until the official release to learn ;) ), but I doubt they'll make it smooth.

FF combos WOULD make the movement smooth, Pineconn, because they're combos that actually slide around on the screen. Although, they seem to be somewhat difficult to work with at the moment. I certainly haven't tried yet.

It's not that hard, look at LinktheMaster's Freeform combo tutorial if you don't understand, it's somewhere around Beta Discussion.

Oh really? :) Heh, that's certainly perfect! v2.11 is so different than v2.10, it's almost like a v3.0! I can't wait for this. I could make some interesting pushable items... This would be a lot easier than pixel-perfect combo cycling!

Actually, FF combos have no solidity currently. So, no large pushable objects at the moment. Jman's got some plans for FF combos in beta 11 though, I've heard, so, yeah. ;)

Well, then current FF combos wouldn't allow for moving NPC's if you can step on them! :rolleyes: So, yeah, solidity in b11 would be a good thing. ;)
