Can I use a joystick with Zelda Classic? What kind is best?

Oof... Thread noticed a little bit late. I'll move this to the ZC Discussion forum where people will notice it.

I've heard that it's possible, but never actually tried it for myself. I'm sure someone else can tell you more about it though. :)

There are two ways. The first is to click in the zc window, select settings->joystick, then set up the buttons. The second is to get a free program like joy2key that turns joystick movement into keypresses. The second is almost guaranted to work with any joystick that windows supports.

I have a joystick and it works but it's really hard to move with it so I wouldn't recommend using one.

use a gamepad... they roxers.

Yes. Gamepad is the way to go. SNES pad works the best along with the USB adapter from here,
