Easy enough. I'm sure we all have some sort of interesting or crazy story to share. I'll start with a couple.

I'd say this one was the strangest that's ever happened to me, i wish i still had a copy of the exact transcript.

About 18 months ago, I had a random girl message me via Skype. Her name was Jaze, I believe, and she was from Nigeria. Looking for something to do, I decided i'd pass some time and talk, anyway, we spoke for maybe 5 minutes, sharing things like names, locations and such. She then says to me, 'So, you want to be my boyfriend?' I quickly responded with no, and said that it would be better if we just 'remained friends, for good.' That didn't seem to stop her, though, she kept saying strange things about how she liked me, and then insisted on sending me pictures via an email. About 2-3 minutes later, i recieved an email, with several, suggestive, although clothed pictures. She then announced that she wanted me to come visit her in Nigeria. I refused, so she said 'how about i come down to Australia?' Before i could respond, she said that she had no money, and couldn't afford a trip to Australia, but said i should pay her way. So basically, within 10 minutes of meeting this crazy girl, she wanted me to fly her down to meet me. *block*

------

About 2 years ago, i was walking from my old job, to a bank, as we needed change for the cash register. As such, I had about $250 in my wallet. Just across the street from my work, at a very busy intersection, a homeless man, unarmed walks up to me and demands i empty my wallet. I respond with 'no thanks' and continue to walk, knowing that if he attemped to jump me, i'd have 5-6 bystanders helping me out in 10 seconds. He followed me to the intersection, not saying anything, so i turned the corner and asked him if he'd 'like to follow me to the police station?' He turned and ran. I mean, if he was scared of the police station, perhaps he shouldn't try mugging someone unarmed, in broad daylight, 100 metres from the police station. Jackass.

I just had some guy come up to me at Super Wal-Mart the other day and start talking to me like he knew me. Thinking I'd met him one night at a bar, I talked with him for a minute trying to figure out who he was. He wasn't even cute and he had bad teeth. I wanted to vomit (because of his teeth, not his looks). Anyway, turns out his name was Ben, and he thought I was Chrissy. Nooooooooot quite.

That's not the only thing, but the most recent, so it's the only thing I can remember right off the top of my head. At least, the only thing I can remember that is appropriate for this forum ;)

My 6th grade teacher was arrested for child pornography. That was kind of disturbing.

From my high school there are 2 professional athletes and 3 recognizable hollywood actors/comedians. I knew them all personally except for one, who's older than me. That's sort of surreal.

Yesterday I injured myself with a popsicle, causing me to bleed profusely from the mouth. I put the popsicle in my mouth, but it was so cold it froze to my inner lips. I panicked and yanked it out, riping the skin off my inner lips. My mouth bled and stung for like a half hour. I think I might be a dumbass.

I lied my way into a republican political rally, stole press credentials, sat on stage with three congressmen and shook hands with Vice President Dick Cheney on an airport runway surrounded by security, none of whome knew I was an imposter. Imagine if I had been a terrorist. (Absolutely true story)

Well, once I was visiting my great-uncle and aunt and I was sitting on a their couch. I had about three dollars in my pocket and I heard it kind of slip out. So I stand up and lift up the couch cushion and to my surprise, there was my three dollars and a Play Boy Magazine. I was like "Hey, theres a Play Boy here." and my uncle said, "That's where it went" and I also saw three dollars in change. I reached into my pocket and realized that my money didn't slip out after all.

Then I ate some Alphagetti.

I have such a high tolerance for pain. When I was 16 I was petite and weighed 120 pounds. (That's what I weigh now but it's muscle, I'm 5'4'' right now) Anyway I got really big, which I've always been skinny, but I was huge. So one day I get this pain in my stomache but it just felt like a bad stomach ache is all. But that night I tried to lay down on my back and there was this unbelieveable extreme severe pain that shot up my right side, and I could not get my body to lay down all the way, it froze in mid-lay with all the pain, and I couldn't breath. We went to the ER and I fainted there and got probed all night long and got moved to the other hospital for surgery in an ambulance (I kept falling in and out of councsciousness, I think I was dying) and they had to do surgery the next day at 11AM so they could go in and FIGURE OUT what was wrong.

Turns out my right Ovary had ruptured and the weight was 20 gallons of blood in my stomache. I only went to the ER because I couldn't lay down!

Alright, i've got another one. Today being Good Friday, the Good Friday appeal is for the Melbourne Royal Children's hospital.

Anyway, a few years ago, i was alone in the house, as my family was on holidays. At about 8am, I heard sirens, and a voice over a loudspeaker.

'This is an emergency, please exit your houses immediately'.

Dashing out of my house expecting to see a house on fire, i find a bunch of firefighters in uniform, with donation collection tins, and every other neighbour in their pyjamas. Definately a hilarious joke, i thought it was great, but some people did not, so unfortunately, they no longer do it.

I am still out of it from the hospital visit but if I heard right then I am even more fucked up on the inside than I thought.

My heart and spinal cord are not that far apart. There is right around or less than 4cm of space between the two. That and I have a nice empty space from my breast bone and to the ventrical chamber in my heart. I know the second part is true because it's filling up with fluid and screwing with my heart. A normal person shouldn't have these problems.

Before this happened to me, I didnt believe in ghosts, or spirits, I mean, not so much that I didnt believe, but I never thought about it.

My family and I moved into a house.
Not long after we moved in, I began to have bad feelings in certain places in the house.

I began to see things out of the corner of my eyes, like I would think I would see something move with my peripheral vision, then when I would look in that direction, I would see nothing out of the ordinary.

We all began to have this terrible feeling of dispair, mostly when walking down the stairs to the living room.

My wife told me she felt a hand on her shoulder one night, but when she turned around there was nothing there.

One morning as I was waking up in bed, alone, I felt the bed depress next to me as if my wife had laid down next to me.
When I looked over, there was nobody there.
I had this feeling I cant describe other than chills down my neck and spine.

These things continued for several months.

One day the landlord gave us notice that she was raising our rent to $1200.00 per month
We decided to move out, and find another place.

On several occasions, i would tell my wife that I thought someone died in the house.
Anyway, before we left, i was talking to my wife , and I told her again that I wondered if anyone had died in the house, and that I was going to ask the landlord about it.

The next day the landlord came to the house, we were talking to her, so I asked her if anyone died in the house.

She was very surprised at my question, at first she was studdering and then she told us that the previous tenant killed himself, and that his body remained in the house, at the bottom of the stairway, for a week before he was found.

OMG I couldnt believe what she was saying

She told us his name was Craig.

We remained in the house for another month
And I started talking out loud to him.
I told him that I knew he was here, and that I was sorry that he was so sad, I mean I could feel his sadness.
It was such a bad feeling of misery, and hoplessness.

Anyway, immediatly after I acknowleged his presence, the strange things that were happening, stopped.

I often wonder about it.
I keep telling myself to go back to the house, and ask the people who live there if anything strange happens to them.

Maybe I will do it now that I posted this.

If I do, I will post the results of my visit.

I never believed in this stuff before, never really gave it a second thought.

But let me tell you, I believe now with all my heart, that spirits, and ghosts really do exist.
I know its true , in my soul.

Granite, that is quite an awesome experience. Similar to the one I had in mind for this thread...

Last summer, my older cousin, Missy, was living in an old apartment, which used to be one entire house during the late 1800's. Anyways, Her three-year-old daughter, Madison, was talking to an imaginary friend... two imaginary friends, actually. She described them to her mom as "Kelly is tall and wears a pink dress, Melly is short and wears a blue dress. Melly never talks." She also mentioned other things about them such as "They babysit me when you're asleep." or "I think we should buy them coats, they're always cold." and "They told me not to tell you about them. They don't like mommies." Missy never really paid attention to this, she just shrugged it off as her little girl's imagination. Wrong.

One night, after warning Missy about their dislike for mommies, Missy woke up to her daughter screaming from her room. She immidiately ran to her, and saw her rolling around her bed, scratching the skin off her back yelling "Get the girl's off me!! Get the bad girls off me!!!" Without hesitation she grabbed her, held onto her on the living room couch, and comforted her back to conciousness while asking what was going on. Madison was in a daze and kept staring towards the corner of the room. After several times of asking "What happened? Who's hurting you?" Madison pointed twords the corner and said "They don't want any mommies here." Missy and Madison slept at a friend's house that night, and didn't return for over a week.

The day after that incident, Missy called my sister, Jen (who also had a three-year-old at the time), and told her everything. Afterwards, Jen called me to tell me (me and Jen woud watch Ghost Hunters every Wednesday, so we loved this sorta thing). While I was hearing the story, Missy was calling another friend of her's, who also had a three-year-old. She was shocked to hear all this, because her daughter saw the exact same thing. One night, Jen's daughter, Missy's daughter, and her friend's daughter were at that apartment being babysat. The next morning, she told her mommy about a girl in pink and a little girl in blue that never talked. She also metioned "They look like Sally Stitch" (from Nightmare Before Christmas). After Missy heard all of that, she told Jen, then Jen told me. While Jen was keeping me updated, Missy was on her way to the library to look up history on the house.

She found information a family that lived there. There was a father, no mother, and two daughters. Their names were Ann Kelly and Mel. Mel died when she was only four months old, while Ann Kelly died not too long afterwards. This was in 1887, by the way.

Shortly afterwards, Missy made it official that she was moving out. About a week after those incidents, she told her landlord about what was going on. She had no idea about the house being haunted, even though she mentioned that the last family that lived there ran out in the middle of the night and never came back. Anyways, later on she came back to gather belongings, but she didn't want to go alone. She invited a group of friends to help, but they haven't arrived yet, so Missy decided to start early. She took one step on the porch, and the mailbox flew off the wall and to her feet. She then went back to her car to wait. Eventually they all arrived and went down to business. Before they stepped in the house, Missy wraned them "I haven't been here in a week, and the air conditioners were never turned on, so it's gonna be hot as hell in here." (it was about 107 degrees out that day). Turns out, the air was ice cold in there. No matter, they still got to work.
One girl was cleaning out a cabinet in the kitchen. She turned her back for one second, and it slammed shut. Another girl was going to start cleaning out a closet (which used to be a stairwell when it was a whole house). As soon as she opened the door, a cold breeze rushed right through her. Another was cleaning out Madison's room, putting toys in boxes. She was handling a couple dolls, the ones that close their eyes when you lay them down (I hate those damn things). She placed them face-down so she wouldn't scare herself, and went out for a smoke break. When she got back, the dolls were turned face-up, with their eyes open.
So, they managed to get a lot done, and were about to take off. Then one girl exclaimed "Shit, I left my purse in there." Another friend decided to go with herso she wouldn't have to go alone. As soon as they opened the door, they screamed, as "Something ran across the living room".

Then I come in. About a week after that, me and Jen and one of Jen's friends (she's a skeptic) decided to check it out one night. This was actually the night before someone else was about to move in the next morning, so this was the only night we could do it (we were planning on it ever since we heard the stories). I brought a few dowsing rods (google that if you want to) and a walkie talkie to try and experiment with some EVP. Jen also had her camera phone. Anyways, the dowsing rods worked well, the walkie talkies picked up a lot of unexplained interference, but the camera phone... captured this:

My mom got a creepy feeling on a certain step of her house when she was a kid. One day she talked to her sister about it and her sister went to the exact same step and said she got the same feeling.

Turns out, the house had burned down and been rebuilt. The original owner died.. on the stairs.

Kinda spooky, even though it happened before I was born.

Dracula what is that picture showing? I can't make it out but it looks like some weird face.

I can't remember all of the details so I will ask her later and get the whole story. Anyways when she was a little kid and living in one of the houses she remembers seeing this guy in different areas of the house. She would be brushing her teeth or be in front of the mirror and she would open it to get something then shut it and she would see this figure in the mirror then she turned around and nothing was there. My uncle saw the same thing and would be walking through the house and hear something or see something out of the corner of his eye.

After a while they both thought they were going nuts but ended up moving not too long after.

When I was a teenager, My 3 cousins and I were sitting in our living room smoking pot(no supervision), and talking about things like the meaning of life, etc.
The subject of religion came up, and we were discussing the matter(stoned), I had a sudden urge to ask this question, so I yelled out; "IF THERE IS A GOD, THEN GIVE US A SIGN NOW.
At that exact moment a big gust of wind blew open the front door, and a bunch of leaves, sand, dust, etc. was blown into the house, through the hall(approx 10 ft) into the room we were sitting in.
It was not a windy day.

I will never forget the looks on my cousins faces!!

We were on the mexican border, and my parents were getting things for us to pass. It was just my brother and I in the truck. All of a sudden, he tells me to stop screaming. I reply that I'm not, and he keeps telling me to stop. Then, he says that he can't move. I thought he was faking it, so I tickled him (he's super ticklish) and he didn't flinch at all.

Also, I took a tour at the Winchester Mystery House. We reached the bathroom with everything having to do something with the number 13. The shower in the corner was open, so I decided to step in. I started hearing screams, so I asked my cousin to get in there. She didn't hear anything, so we just stepped out and shut up.

Other than that, not much else is exciting about me :(

I really think this should be a sticky..... But

I toltally believe in supernatural.

My parents friends used to have an old house that had a spirit. There was on particular incident that they would never forget.

One night when getting ready to lay down and go to sleep, the wife felt a strange presence in the room. No sooner had she sat down did the apparition sit down next to her and appear. Naturally, she was frieghtened, but the ghost told her "not to be afraid".
From what I was told, true story, they had a conversation that went on for about a good have an hour, talking about kids and such, she had a son, 4 at the time. After the discussion the ghost wished her "good night", got up walked to the door, turned off the light and disappeared.

They never saw it again.

So, I work at a home for senior citizens who have alzheimers, among other debilitating conditions. Some of you probably already know this. Anyway, it's a sad line of work in a way, but you have to have a sense of humor about it or you'll burn out fast. That being said, the circumstances are ripe for hillarity.

So, there's this lady there who's in her early seventies, physically normal, but mentally altered. Not in a crazy weird way, but you can tell after about a sentence or two that she's not all there, if you know what I mean.

Yesterday, I'm working, minding my own business in the kitchen, when she walks in from the living room and starts my coworker Linda if she's ready to eat her.

Wait a sec, I'm not sure I heard that right, I think. The woman must be a mind reader, because she begins to ask everyone else in the room the same question. "Chris, are you gonna eat me?"

Keep in mind that the only guy named Chris in the entire building is the crazy blind guy who's not even in this half of the house.

Got totally drunk one night at a sports bar, while stumbling home, I took a shortcut through a cemetary.
About half way through I saw this headstone with my last name on it.
Actually there was a whole family buried there with my last name.
Big deal right? Right, I was drunk so i shruged it off, and kept on going.

Another time when i was drunk, I tried to climb an 8ft chain link fence, caught the bottom of my pants on the top of the fence, so I was hanging there upsidedown, and too drunk to do anything except yell for help. Thankfully someone heard my screams, and helped me down.

Also weird when you're reading and someone says the exact word you're on, out loud in another conversation. Especially if it's an unusual word. That's weird.

Or when you never see something referenced EVER, but then see it like 3 times in one day.

O_O Wow. Some creepy stuff here!

I do believe there are some thing in today's world that science cannot explain.

I don't believe in ghosts (I dreamed I was a ghost once though. Kicked ass!)
That being said, I do belive that if someone dies horribly somewhere, the Agitation/Fear/sadness of the person's spirit leaves an imprint on the area.

I sort-of belive in aliens. (I'm certain there is other life out there, I just don't really know if they've made contact yet). I just think that if they HAVE made contact with us, the reason they don't reveal tehmselves is because they KNOW we would end up trying to kill them all. (we can't even get along with other humans with different skin color. how would we react to something totally different?).

I can't really think of anything freaky that happened in my life (aside form my recurring near death dreams).

The closest hing to freaky that I can think of is that often when I wake up (i'm hovering between asleep and awake) I cannot really control my thoughts. I constantly relive my near death dreams without really wanting to. It takes a tremendous amount of will to full awaken (but loud music of a sunbeam in the face helps a lot). I sometimes fear I'm posessed or someting...but then again, it's probably just some phychological thingy...

Funny. A few years ago, I was babysitting my little sister (I'm guessing this was like, my sophomore year of high school) while our parents went out to dinner or whatever. Anyhow, I was sitting at the computer, which was right by the kitchen doorway. I saw something moving in the kitchen, and by the time I looked in there all I saw was and foot and long blonde hair disappear behind the wall. I figured it was my sister, because she's blonde and who I saw was the same height, so I turned towards the hallway expecting to see my sister come darting out and run back to our room. I never saw her so I looked in my room, and there she was watching TV. I asked if she was in the kitchen, turns out she hadn't moved since mom and dad left. I was a little spooked.

A few months later, my parents were sitting int he living room watching TV, about an hour after my sister and I had gone to bed. Well my dad claims that he saw my little sister standing in the hallway by our door, just staring at him. My dad asked her what was wrong, and when she didn't respond he told her to go back to bed. He sat his glass down on the table to go put her in bed and she was gone. He came in to check on us, and my sister was sound asleep. He was really freaked out after that.

I'm never "napping" with the lights off again. I started dozing once early at night (it gets dark early in the winter in Chicago) and decided to just take a nap. When I nap, I get sleep paralysis often, but I usually nap in the daytime or when lights are on, so I just hallucinate. This was the worst shit ever, though. Instead of seeing things, I felt like I was kind of half asleep, I vaguely heard someone walking downstairs. I thought it was my boyfriend, or my brother, but I got really scared when I realized it wasn't them. It walked into my room, I tried to move but I couldn't, and I could hear someone breathing and FEEL them standing right next to me. It was a REALLY STRONG PRESENCE, I was panicking until I finally "woke up" fully, and it disappeared. I turned on all the lights and wouldn't go downstairs for awhlie after that. Lol.

When I get creeped out I usually use the "cat detector" method. Because animals are supposed to know when there's some kind of "presence" around so I just carry my cat around and if she's chill, it's all good.

Both sides of my family have a history of supernatural occurences.

My mother's side of the family is from the Philippines, and they used to live in a house that was haunted by spirits. When they first moved in, they arranged for a priest to come in the following morning to bless the house (before they knew that there were spirits in it). That night, every single person in the family had the same dream: of the entire house engulfed in flames. They conferred with each other, then decided to cancel the blessing. As it turned out, the spirits, in fact, were actually good. They even attended church! (They prayed in the back pews, moving to make room for any living people who ended up filling up the pews.) They simply wanted to live in the house with my mother's family. They didn't want the house to be blessed because, apparently, holy water hurts *all* spirits very badly, not just evil ones.

I'll be back with more stories in a couple of days.

Something really weird happened last night.

Bladen has this piano thing in his bedroom, and I tend to turn it off when I put him in bed because the slightest movement will make the thing come on and start playing music, which is annoying. So I turned it off last night, put Bladen in bed, and went to bed myself. At 2:00 this morning, I hear the fucking thing start playing. It would play the same tune 5 times in a row then stop for about 10 seconds, and start over again. I figured it would just stop, because it normally does, but it didn't. So about 2 minutes into this, I get frustrated and go upstairs to take care of the problem. As soon as I walk into his room, the music stopped and didn't start again. So I made sure all of his pianos were off (which they were, which was strange), and went back down to my room. Laying in bed, I could hear what sounded like footsteps right above my head (his room is directly above mine), and I figured I'd accidentally let Heaven (our hyper active 9 month old Golden Retreiver) into his room. I layed there for a minute, trying to decide what to do, when I heard a loud thump on the floor, which woke Bladen up who started screaming his head off. So I freak out thinking our big ass dog is in his room waking him up and run upstairs. Go into his room and discover there's no dog in the room, and Bladen is just laying in his bed clutching his blankie and crying. Okay, so I'm freaked out. I get Bladen out of bed, and head down to my room, deciding that he'll just sleep with me for the rest of the night.

We get settled in bed, and I start to doze off (he falls asleep immediately). Then I hear someone walking in Bladen's room again. This time I'm positive it's Heaven because I left his door open when we came out, so, I go upstairs to shoo her out and shut his door. I get to the top of my stairs, and see Heaven laying on the floor next to the couch - just where she was when I went to bed at 11. Okay, so now I'm really creeped out and give up all attempts to find out what's going on, so I just go back to bed and cuddle with Bladen (still hearing footsteps).

Then he wakes me up at 4, smacking me, until I roll back over and cuddle him again. He falls back to sleep, and like, an hour later, he starts laughing in his sleep, which is cute but REALLY creepy.

I dunno. Weird shit, mang.

I used to time travel a little. I know it's generally not possible, but it was just weird how it felt like I had actually gone back in time a little. When I was younger, I used to have these occasional periods where I'd fall asleep at 10:00 PM, wake up at 12:00 AM because I'd left the TV on, turn it off, fall back asleep, wake up again at 4:00 AM, then wake up again at 12:00 AM again. :odd:

It's bullshit, I know, ... ... but it felt so very, very real. I mean, I tend to dream that I wake up to go to the bathroom a lot, but I'm still laying there in bed, ... but then again, I usually went downstairs to verify it with other clocks in the house, and it was real. I did that at both 4:00 and 12:00. (Snacks were indulged upon at both hourly sessions.)

Other weird stuff that happens to me includes the power to command squirrels and other small mammals. I've instructed several squirrels which trees to climb up and which branch to sit on just by pointing at them and shouting softly at them. (It was in public too. ) ... Not that it matters or anything, but that actually happened. Freaky.

I don't actually believe in ghosts or anything. I mean, I wouldn't be saying bad things about the deceased or anything, but I wouldn't be thinking about them as still being around on Earth in some form either.

@ moocow:

no kidding!

that is really freaky...did you ask bladen what made him scared? either the dog is REALLY fast and can fall asleep instantly, or you're being haunted.

O_O spooky...

@ shadowtiger:

You can command small animals? wow. I can sometimes do that to wasps (i DETEST wasps!) I give them a long cold stare if they enter the class room, and I say in my mind "Get out. the window is THAT way. go...NOW!". it works about 50% of the time.

And speaking of time...That time thingy happened to me once too! I even dreamed once that I got up for school, then I woke up, and had to do it all over again!

my philosohpy about ghost is "I'll believe in ghosts when I see one". but I DO believe that when someone dies, they leave an imprint of their feelings behind at the moment of their death.

I remember something spooky that happened to me a while back.

I was going to a very religious, all boy, high school. In my fourth year, we went on an overnight retreat to a...I forget the exact name, but it was an old lodge, which had been converted to a church. there were quite a few priests living there.

Anyway, my group was called to a place called the "old lounge" As soon as I went in there, I had this weird feeling. like something bad had happened there. our group sat down, and I took up a seat almost directly under on of the chandeliers (SP?), and my weird feeling intensified. turns out that when the place was used as a lodge (or whatever it used to be used for) somebody hanged himself...from the same chandelier I was almost sitting under!

:scared: That REALLY freaked me out.

I'm never sure if I'm "experiencing" a location where someone died. (I mean, I go to school in freaking Queens, NY. *LOL* ) I know that during the earlier portions of my daily commute, I pass by a large lake by an overpass where someone has drowned a decade or two ago. Nobody ever found the body, apparently. I can't help but stare out at it as an eerie feeling passes over me, but that's probably only because I remember the rumor. I suppose that's quite different from having the feeling first, then finding out that someone died there.

That wouldn't have done me much good. He's only 17 months old, and the biggest sentence he's said is, "Where ya at?" (which, he's not even supposed to be able to put words into sentences yet, lol). I wish I knew though. And if Heaven had left his room, I would have heard her fat ass come down the stairs, she's not a very quiet dog, lol. I don't know what it was, hoping it was just my imagination.

When I was little we used to live in this house that was behind another house. Kind of like the house was in the backyard of the other, but the same person owned both houses. Anyways, we lived in the one in the back, when I was around 3 or 4 abouts. My mom would always hear me talking to someone when I was in the kitchen. There would never be anyone in there, and then I would go and ask her who the nice "lady" was in the kitchen. My mom had no idea what I was always talking about. Turns out an elderly person had died in that house before we lived there, and I could see her and talk to her. I don't remember any of it, but it was interesting to find out as a teenager, that I used to see a ghost as a toddler.

I probably have more things I can post, I first have to think of some more. I know a lot of weird stuff has happened to me, I just can't remember though.
