I should mention right off the bat that one thing we should be seeing in NeoFirst are Link Tile Mods, so we need to remember this as we go.

Now, ... choose your link!

The Master List (http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/NSA/HTML/Zelda/cust.htm)

Some of my personal favorite choices:

Young Link (http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/NSA/Sheets/YOUNGLINK.png) - Oldskoolmario / GreenYoshiJosh / TRM
Link RTP (http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/NSA/Sheets/linkrtp.png) - Oldskoolmario
LOZ Link (http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/NSA/Sheets/lozlink.png) - Oldskoolmario
EDIT: ... ... dang 404 errors. x X.'

Comments? ... You can pick one, or introduce one of your own. I'm rather tempted to ask Freedom if I could use the one he has in his set. He's undoubtedly optimized his for his own needs. Freedom? If you see this, ... do you mind if we use the tiles you've ripped and used? :)

I already offered you whatever you wanted from the Adventure tileset, you didn't seem too interested so that's why I've pretty well set on the sidelines.

The Link I released in the developers exchange forums here, at Elises, and at PureZC are funtional and what I'm using in my quest, he works and looks good enough for me, but you need to use small hitbox with big link as of beta 10b because using large he gets stuck everywhere even though you leave the full 16x16 opening.

@ First part of post: Oh, I know. :) I have those on my PC right now. I'm just not sure if you've modified them in any way since. It's not that big of a deal though, so nevermind.

Besides, It was just a very confusing time back then; choosing a tileset, trying to find out what we're going to do, ... etc. Now that I actually KNOW what we're doing to be doing, for the most part, the Adventure Tileset has many very attractive tiles. I'm just not sure who to credit. @_@' .. You, or the TMC set. .. Heh. .. Both it is. ;)

As for the Tiles themselves, I'm sure they won't be a problem. We can leave a note in the Tutorial area of NeoFirst.qst (It will have one, remember? :p ( @ Everyone reading.)) that they have to modify the doorways and such depending on which hitbox they're using.

Those I released are modified from what was originally released in the Adventure tileset.

The large hitbox isn't going to be able to be used until Jman does some more tweaking on it.

Any minish tiles you see in the Adventure set I ripped from TMC, other tiles came from other existing sets like pure, decsendant or whatever, and the set started with suntower and still has some enemy and sprite tiles from that.
I don't care about you crediting me, that's not why I released it.

Hmm... I don't know which is better. The RTP Link or Freedom's MC Link. But, if ya had to pick, I'd say one of those two. The LOZ link looks sorta bizzare and as for the Young Link... I've just seen it waaaaayyyyyy too many times.

RTP Link, definately...he looks real nice, but wasn't there a bug or something in the new betas where the top 2 rows of pixles in 2x2 Link got cut off?

personally, I like this Link (http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/NSA/Sheets/wwlinkml.png) the best

He's pretty cool, but then you'd maybe have to find a tileset that completely fits his style, without looking too tacky, ya know?

A bit comical I'd say. I suppose if ya wanna make like a Zelda Classic Comic series of quests, I suppose he'd be great. Otherwise, yeah xXVolvagiaXx you're probably right, it would look a little tacky. And two, the side views are a little bit "undetailed" in comparison to the other views.

well, I WOULD offer my Link, however I don't want to release him just yet. he's not done, either, however he would look great in the Pure tileset... if that IS the tileset you guys decided to use

Radien's DoR Tileset is "based" off of the PTUX set. (More or less. o.o' ) I'm find it to be quite the remarkable tileset. I've done quite a few modifications to it so far. Mostly combo page work, but it's looking great so far.

Also, there are a lot of things in Cset 6 that I want to keep, (Items and such.) So I don't want to mutilate Cset 6. If anyone wants their Link done, recolor it to the DoR set.

Your links are not found! You better fix your links.
