is there any way that i can make link pick up the rocks?
i mean, pushing them is good and all, but i really need to know how to pick stuff up walk around with it and throw it at other stuff.

If you mean like in ALTTP, no. I don't think they're even trying to implement that either. But, no.

Well, there was some mention of it. I do believe it is in the list of things to do, like Roc's Feather, lightable torches, and a lot of Z3-style features (lantern, picking up rocks, talkable NCPs, and even items). However, as of now, you can pretty much scrap the idea of this. ;)

It's not one of the items currently being worked on. It could get done at some point in the future, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
