String Error

Alright, I place all my strings to the proper guys and rooms, and then I go to test a little later, EVERY guy says the one string before the one he's supposed to say.
EX:
1.Buy something will ya!
2.Boy this stuff is really expensive!
I set a guy to say string 2, but instead, he says string 1. This really messes up my game, seeing as everyone says the wrong thing.

They're all proper, but what I mean is I set it on the screen, then the guy says the wrong thing. I can easily set this back to normal, but as I get further into the quest, the more people say, thus, the more I have to change. This means I can easily miss a few.
