magical sword problem

in the graveyard is the staircase leading to the magical sword, when i walk over to the sword to pick it up nothing happens, it just stays there, any ideas?

Get more Heart Containers. In the first quest, you need 5 Heart Containers (your Life Meter) for the White Sword (minimum 2 Dungeons completed) and 12 for the Magical Sword (aka Master Sword to some people). Get 5 Heart Containers in the overworld. One requires the Blue Candle, one the Raft, another the Ladder, and I can't remember the other 2. I DO know that the one you need the ladder for is the only one where you don't choose between a Red Water of Life and a Heart Container.

if your using it in a custom quest you must specify in the init data i think.. if you want to change what you need to weild the weapon... otherwise refer to the posts above.
