when i start up zquest or zclassic, it's really small on the screen, when i try to go to full screen it closes the program. I got zc211b10.

What kind of system are you using? Windows or Mac?

I am using windows on a dell b130 laptop

Make a shortcut to the zelda-w.exe file and add the following to the end of the command:
-windowed -res 512 448 big

That causes it to be double size.

For zquest the switches
-large -windowed
exist, though this mode is very buggy.

I got zc211b10.

Also, please note. This version is still full of bugs and is not an official public release. I would recommend getting 2.10 until it is or you will just run into more problems.

version 2.10 didn't even open on my laptop. Thanks for the help but it didn't work it continues to open as a small window even with the commands

Lower your resolution, if you're using 1024×768 then change it to 800×600.

As I said before, change the resolution and the colors (try with 256 colors).
