another small issue i have is how to make it so you dont have to kill everyone in a room in order to push a block?

If I remember correctly, you just have to make sure the block is not of combo type "Push (Wait)" or any push type with Wait in the name. The Wait stands for "Wait until all enemies are killed" I believe.

the block in question is currently set to (push down, once)

You also need to push them longer.
EDIT: Uh, I posted exactly at the same time Franpa did. :sweat:

And what's the Combo type of the block?

changed combo type for the block... and it worked... now how to make it wait like it normally does...

i dont want it to move with a feather touch.

I don't think it'll work if you change it so it doesn't push instantly...maybe that layer thing'll work, but I've never been able to get it to work for me... you put a block on Layer 1, then put a push flag on the block. That never ever works when I do it... Give it a try.

In rules set hesitant blocks

hesitent push blocks is crossed/ticked (im begining to think this is a bug from updating from zc 2.11 b6 to zc 2.11 b9b)

flag = (push down, once)
block combo = (none)
hesitent push blocks rule is checked/crossed/ticked

I don't think it's possible to have hesitant push blocks that don't wait for the enemies to be gone. At least, I've never been able to. For me, it's always been blocks that are hesitant that wait, or blocks that don't wait, but also aren't hesitant, never both. Perhaps we need a new block combo/flag that allows hesitant non-waiting blocks?

The whole point of hestant blocks was so they wouldn't move if you just bumped in to them.
I know it used to work, but I haven't really tested in the latest betas.
Something may have changed with all the additions Jman has made with blocks, like the block hole.. etc.
