I'm having a problem at the entrance of a dungeon area.
When you enter it, Link starts where I positioned the start
point but I have to have it an extra tile above the entrance
door on the bottom of the room because for some reason
num nuts automatically walks down one tile for some reason
when he appears in the room.

Because of this, if I put the start point on the door where it
would normally go, then as soon as he enters the house he
does the automatic walking down one tile and thus walks
himself back outside!!!

Oh, one other important detail, I'm using ZC2.10 at the moment.

Does anyone know why Link is walking down one tile for no reason?

Yep. Because that's what he does when the Green square isn't RIGHT against the bottom edge of the screen. It has to be half covered by the black squares for him to correctly walk UP into the dungeon.

it has to be on the edge of the screen... above the door... yet still touching the edge of the screen.

Hey, thanks.

That fixed it all right when I moved the start point so its right on the bottom
edge of the screen. That's much better now that he doesn't high tail it right back out of the place as soon as you enter it. hehe:)
