A horribly addicting card game

the game is very simple. You put cards of one value less, and of the same suit, of the card to the LEFT of a hole. Put any king in any left-most slot.

You lose when there are only 2's to the left of the holes, and you win when everything lines up.

I've gotten 42, and I play the shit out of this. The highest possible score is 48.

I've read the rules over and over and I can't figure out how to move any of the cards.

for any hole in the board, look to the left of it. whatever that card is, say the 9 of spades, you place the EIGHT of spades in that hole. If the hole is all the way on the left, place a king.

Thus, creating a new hole to move another card in. Eventually you run out of moves.
