Help with Palettes?

I seem to recall an old topic in which somebody (I think it was C-Dawg) described what each Cset in the palettes was used for. Does anybody have a link to this topic, or can anybody describe here what each Cset is used for? Thanks in advance.

What each color is used for would depend on how someone set them up, my page describes a little about how pure palettes are set up

Oh heck, that's what I was looking for, thanks! Also, I didn't mean what each COLOR was used for, I meant what each whole SET is used for, like Cset 6 is for Link's colors.

Quest ->Palettes ->Main - Cset 6 is Link's cset with no ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 6 is Link's cset with the blue ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 7 is Link's cset with the red ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 8 is Link's cset with the gold ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 9 is the quest icon with no ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 10 is the quest icon with the blue ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 11 is the quest icon with the red ring.

Quest ->Palettes->Sprites->1 - Cset Cset 12 is the quest icon with the gold ring.


csets 2,3,4 and 9 change with level palette.

csets 7,8 are generally used for sprites and are used for a lot of enemies.

cset 5 doesn't fade with dark screen unless you check the rule to make it do so.
