View Full Version : I don't want the guy disapear !!!!

First : When you get a special item in caves, the "guy" disapear...
Is there a way to change that ?

Second : And after that, if we come back to this cave, what happen ?
Can we make the guy say another thing ?
In fact, can we make a "switch" ?? :confused:

To make the guy not dissapear:
Copy the guy tile you want to use, and paste it on a spare two tiles.
Then, slide one tile to the left by half, and the other to the right. Put on a combo page. On the cave screen, put the tiles where the guy would go.

I am not going to explain how the guy says something else unless you need it.

This requires more dmaps, and a custom cave screen.

1. Make the tile warp to the custom cave screen( S 70 ).
2. Make the side warp to a different dmap, a clone of the original.
3. Make the tile warp to a clone of the custom cave.
4. You should be able to figure out the rest.

Or you could impliment the boss flag.

Create a separate screen before the guy with a level number and an enemy trigger. Use the option dungeon boss as well. Make the combos on the floor have a secret tile warp combo. When you defeat the boss level equal to that dmap level the trigger will disappear and tile warp the player to an identical screen but when the player goes to the guy he will say something else.
