enhanced music?

did anyone know that you can play enhanced music via zquest but you cant use it in a quest?

What is "enhanced music" by your definition?
I'm using MP3's in my quest.

I know when DN added it in with the midi window, he said it wasn't completed yet, and I haven't heard any more about it since then, BUT you can add the music files to the ZC folder and load them in the dmap of the area you wish them to play in.

zquest => etc => play music

you can easily play music such as spc's mp3's and other stuff easily... but thanks for pointing out how to use enhanced music in a quest.

just found out that after listening to a spc file for a while then choose to stop music... zquest crashed.

Exactly what does the current beta (10b) support for enhanced music? I was wondering if SPC support has been implemented. I thought I saw a while back that it was removed because of bug problems. If it is supposed to be working, exactly how is it set up? And if it has been removed, what is the status on it? Thanks.

you can set it up in the dmap area... you cant browse for it which means you have to type it in manually... and yes spc is supported in beta 10b

Thanks. And also just to check, if it has to be set up via the dmap options, that means the file will not be embedded in the qst file and must be provided seperately, correct?

Correct, maybe later the Mp3 will be embeddable to the .qst file.

SPC is already in there. Also MP3, NSF, MOD/S3M/XM/IT and, of course, MIDI. Any plans to add other formats? (RMF *Java-based*/OGG/USF/GBS/ADX *GC Streamed Music with Looping*)
