if you downloaded the new beta (9b) then redownload as it now contains an additional fix not found in the original (9b) beta.

mac os X port now availible.

Wow. How stable is it now? I'd get it again, but I fear of playing quests that aren't made with it, so I'll wait until it's a full version before I get 2.11 again.

edited previouse post. i think the additional fix was to do with garbage tiles appearing somewhere... read the thread.

Well, they've got one good thing there: It's not taking them long to make these betas, so I expect a full version sometime this year (hopefully it'll be very soon).

Me too. I was thinking that some of my quests will go great with 2.11 instead of 2.10, like my Kirby quest.

linux version has been released and updated my link to mac version so that it points to the new 9b version. (if it allready did then meh i dont care)

wasnt sure where to report this so am reporting in this thread...i downloaded the beta 9 version [from this link in this thread]...and in playing it i noticed in the dungeons of 1, 2 and 3 [so far] when i check the one screen as to what rooms i am in [or have been in] they dont show up, no even after i get the map..is this a bug...i have noticed this in various over quests i have played...:)

Garbage combos are fixed in 2.11 beta 10 (not released yet) arent they?

my message in this thread about garbage combos is related to the beta 9b thread because it said it was fixed... but yea... its not fixed till beta 10 comes.

He posted it for the people who don't know where to go to get it. Heck, when I came back here a month or so ago, I didn't know that any of the 2.11 betas were publicly released, until I heard about it at PZC. Since I'm sure not everyone who comes here to the AGN boards also goes to PZC, there's probably quite a few people that missed out on beta 5/6 because this thread wasn't around back then. So, I'm glad to see he's been posting links to the new betas/beta forums.

I frecuently have to give links to the beta, so I agree with franpa, not everyone know where the Beta Discussion is.

Stupid questions, Maybe.
I have a Mac and got the 2.11 beta fine. Problem is the size of the playing window. It it very small, about 2"x2". Can I make window larger? If so, how?

The othe question:
Having the 2.11 beta - does this mean that I can download other games and play them like if I had pc? I used to be able to play a lot of games preMac. I have waited 2 years, it seems, to play anything at all.

There is a newer topic you could've asked this in (:p), but whatever. Anyway, yes, that does mean you can play quests that Windows users have been able to play for years, although the current betas are still a bit unstable, so you might want to wait for the full release of 2.11.

Which reminds me, we probably need to test quests from like, 1.90 on 2.11 to make sure that enemy changing bug has been fixed...
