Courage Bearer

Has anyone else played through Shattered Courage? I think it's a fantastic quest, but I'm stuck in level 6. I need the last key to open the path to the boss door, but I feel like I've searched the entire friggin' dungeon, and to no avail! I'm beginning to think the key does not exist in the game because of a bug. Could someone clear this up for me? My head is bleeding from the amount of times I've smacked my head into the screen...
