I've gotten to level 9, but I can't find the mirror shield. It sure would help to get through this level. And does anyone know where the large cave is?

What do you mean by "the large cave?" It could refer to the little cave that led to the area where Level 8 is.

As far as the mirror shield, keep in mind that sometimes when you take a passageway, and then retake it, you won't end up where you initially began. There was a hint in Level 8. I can tell you that the Mirror Shield is in one of the northern rooms.
