can you use bottles

i seen over the years that you can use bottles in some games. Can you use it in zquest. If you can tell me please.

The closest thing to using a bottle is using a bottle graphic for the Letter item.

You could change the letter sprite to an empty bottle and have that get shown to the old woman to make the potion shop appear. That would make it similar to the other games where you need a bottle to store the potion. However there is no way to replicate the way you see it on the more recent games as there is only one potion that you can carry at a time. Hopefully that answers your question.

I recently DL'd a tileset, and it had a bottle for the letter, a half-filled bottle for blue, and a fully filled bottle for red. That could be used somehow.

REAL bottles have not yet been implemented. I wouldn't expect them to be TOO far off now, though, since the devs seem to have been gearing towards adding more Z3 options lately. ;)
