No version of ZQuest will even start!

As the title suggests, I can't get any version of Zquest to even start on my mom's lap top (which is now what I spend 80% of my pc time on sence mine died). Most of the zelda-w.exe's work, except for v192a 184, but NONE of the zquests. And I might add that I have copied the entire directory onto another computer and had the zquest run fine.

So maybe this is a lap top problem rather than a ZC problem. It is a Dell with Win XP. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

all I can think of is, make sure you're running ZQuest in an administator's profile

Also make sure your PC is powerful enough. At my work PC, I can run Z-Quest in windowed or large versions, but it won't run in full screen.

Reinstall DirectX. That might help.

My laptop has the same problem (although it an extremely run down computer that also can't even run Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer, or access the Control Panel). Fortunately, I have 3 other computers that can run ZeldaQuest.
