These are easily some of my favorite kinds. Simple, yet classic. Delicious.

Sweet! I never saw any sushi before which was covered in Sesame Seeds. Cool!

... ... Okay, now I'm just pelting people with images of sushi.

This, looks positively delicious.
(Not that I regret doing it or anything. ;-p)

Sushi! ... What's to ask, but "Have you ever had some?" "Do you enjoy it?" "Do you like the spicy variety?" "Do you like the sashimi (Raw fish.) or the Sushi (Rice With .. Whatever.)?"

Personally, I'm quite partial to the spicy tuna sushi, but I mostly prefer avocado rolls. They were the first sushi I ever tried. They're also among the least expensive, thankfully.

One of these days, I'm going to go for the BIG platter. Seriously, I'm going to order and eat a $24 plate of sushi. I don't care. I just don't care. It's addicting.

... Crap. .. I'm addicted to sushi. >_<'

I've never had that, but I've been wanting to try it for quite a while.

I've been known to drown my Sushi in Soy Sauce, ... then immediately regret it. XD (FAR Too salty.) I do like to bathe at least three sides of it in Soy Sauce though. It's nice in a dish. If you pour it on though, it sort of ruins it. =/

Wasabi is kind of nice, I think, but it can be somewhat overwhelming. The reason I like Sushi, is that it's a large variety of tastes, within a single helping. You're stuffing so many flavors and textures into your mouth at once, and all of them are experienced seperately, yet in full. It's a remarkable experience, really.

thats why toy take the wasabi and they soy sause and mix them to the right flavor balance, thats how you make sure its not gona be too salty and it makes sure you dont just have a chunk of wasabi... it makes it like a mustard consitancy and tastes banging...

I had some sushi with my family at christmas...good stuff. My fav was the Tuna Roll. I'm also found of the California Roll. Want to try the Shrimp sometime though. :kitty:

Yuck... I absolutely hate soy sauce... Tried it on my sushi once, and immediately regretted it. Wasabi isn't as bad, but I'm not a major fan. *shrugs* Like a lot of things, I like my sushi relatively plain. But the point is, I do like my sushi. Favorite kind is shrimp... Awesome stuff, I must say.

Sushi. Goooood stuff. AFTER I left for college, I found out a sushi bar opened up back home. I went there over the Christmas break, it was AMAZING.

Sushi is fun.
It is like tofu, does anyone really know what that is :D, in that it has little taste but it does have good texture.
I have put Soy Sauce on it as well.
It does seem like you can put on it galore but then you realize it is much too salty.
Wasabi is good also, as long as I don't use too much.
I like all the varieties including both raw and cooked, with and without rice.

P.S. yes I know Soy Sauce comes from soybeans as does tofu.
But that is like trying to relates hame and hotdogs.
You know what one is and you don't want to know what the other is.

I've never tried sushi, and I'm not in much of a rush to try it either (I barely like cooked fish as it is). I would like to try it one day, though. Most of it looks good...except the stuff with sesame seeds (can't stand the sesame seeds), and anything with shrimp is an automatic 'NO'.

Oh fuck. I love a lot of the stuff, but the kind you get in the US (obviously) isn't as fresh as the kind in Japan, omg I'm hardcore. I ate at a bar in Hiroshima where I they'd just killed the fish RIGHT before putting it on the rice, and you could taste the saltwater and stuff. Some of them were kind of flavorless and reeeeally chewy because of it, though. Especially the pale pinks ones, I forget what they're called. Also I don't like the egg ones. But a lot of them I love, especially the salmon, tuna, and shrimp. Also I've never had one of these, but I kept seeing the "ice cream cone" sushi in store windows over there.

Good stuff. I thought the taste was weird at first, but then it got addictive.
