View Full Version : Problem with "Swim" tiles

I'm making my own quest with Kirby as the hero. All the tiles work except the swimming up tiles. When Kirby swims up, he looks left and right repeatedly and alternately... Any tips? When I go to Graphics>Sprites>Link, nothing looks wrong. That is, until I play the game.

Try going to
Quest > Graphics > Sprites > Link
Then go to the swim tiles and make sure they're all right.

I posted that in my first post. I go there, and everything looks right, but when I play the quest, it's all wrong.

I found the problem. There was nothing wrong. When Link (or whoever you are in the quest) swims upward, the tiles they use for that swim direction are set in reverse for the 2nd part of the animation... So I made a tile for kirby swimming while looking up (which never happens in REAL kirby games...).

Sorry, this is kinda off topic, but can you tell me how you made a character other than link the hero? whenever I change the link tiles in Quest > Graphics > Sprites > Link,
I get an upside-down heart instead of what I selected. It's called the "B.S. bug," or something. Do you know what to do?
