Can Not Move Link

When I try to start the game at beginning of level Link runs forward without me controling him untell he hits the first wall then I can only move him left to right please help.

Press ALT+TAB twice, I had the same problem a long time ago, and this fixed it.

Pressing ALT+TAB Only minimized the screen. Perhaps I did something wrong?

That's what is supposed to happen, but are you pressing TWICE?

I did, but it minimizes before I really have a chance to press thelm twice.

Just minimize Zelda Classic, and then, maximize Zelda Classic, doesn't matter at which time.
If that doesn't work, try closing all other opened aplications.

I finally under stand what your wanting me to do, but still dispite the fact that I have done this task right it does not work.

Try open just the program and have no other programs open then try running the game. if not try to see the control setting.

Maybe it could be the conveyors that's causing it in my opinion.

[Questions]

Do you have any joysticks or gamepads with analog sticks? If so try unplugging them they might be out of whack.
