Sometimes it sucks and you just gotta put up with spending cash for stuff, even if it is downloadable. If anything, just do a google search and add in "free" in the search.. good luck, too >_>

I think he means a program to copy songs off the ipod back onto the pc.

Can't you just open the ipod as a drive and copy with explorer?

There are a bunch of iPod freeware and shareware tools for getting music BACK. Heck, even in Mac you can use terminal, but the song names are stored in metadata, so you end up with iPod/music/songs/f00/bar1/, bar2, etc.

I used.. uh.. darn, I don't remember. It was like.. winpod.. or something.. google "ipod song extract freeware windows"
