Using keyboard to change thrown object

How do I change the thrown object (from bomb to bow for example) using just the keyboard?

Pressing "Z" or "X", these keys are the "R" and "L" buttons in the SNES, (or it's NES???)

If you are referring to the original controllers for the systems, the L and R buttons weren't made until the Super Nintendo.

It's just that I was a newborn when the NES and SNES were on stores (I'm just 13) :) .

Well that's what I figured. Some of the things I still remember can really date myself back, hahaha ;)
