Trouble with the controls

Hi, I'm new and having trouble with the controls on Zelda... I can't use my sword at all... I press A, but nothing happens. I'm completely new to playing these games on the computer so please excuse my ignorance. :laughing:

Are you pressing "A" or "Alt", the "Alt" button is designed to be the "A" button in the PC, and the "Ctrl" button is designed to be the "B" button.

If you want A and B to be your button set up, you have to go to Settings->Key Buttons and change them there. Otherwise, you have to use the default button set-up.

I've tried Alt and Crtl, but they won't work.

Then you should go into settings>keybuttons (by right clicking on the screen) and set whichever button you want to be a to a and the same with b.
