Cutting down grass...

I know how to make grass seem cut-down-able, but how do I put it so rupees & hearts can appear under them?

There are 2 ways.

1: They appear normally if their combo types are Bush or Tall Grass.
2: If the combo type is Slash (>Item), hearts and Rupees will appear IF there is no other item set for the screen.

When I first used the tall grass and Bush tiles, I first thought that you had to put the heart/rupee item under the grass/bush to make it appear, but I found out the truth soon after.
