Is it possible to have 2 layers ABOVE where Link walks, BUT both layers can be seen from where Link is (transparent layers, that is)? For some reason, only layer 3 will show up, whether transparent or not. I'm trying to make a cave that is not only underground, but also underwater. The layers I'd use are 3 and 4 (3 is the rock layer where the ocean floor is and 4 is the water), but only 3 will show up!

Well, I must say that is odd. I did a test using 5 and 6, both being transparent, and it worked.

Well, maybe it's because I'm using a mountain wall tile and a water tile. Oh well. I only really need the water tiles to make it look like an underwater cavern:D

Is the Wand a good item for level 4? Most of the enemies in my quest are a bit hard, but I try not to make it TOO hard. Mpst powerful enemies in the early stages of my games are found in pairs. But I try not to put enemies that are too powerful;)

The wand, eh? (I'm not from Canada. ) Well, it's hard to say. Possibly not, but I could judge more easily if you could list the items that could be gotten up to this point.
EDIT: W00T! My 100th post! :D

Pineconn, the items you CAN have when you get to Dungeon 4 (Zora Palace) are:
Bombs
Bow
Wooden Arrows
Blue Candle
Boomerang 1
Power Bracelet
White Sword
Ladder
Whistle
Raft
Red Potion
Magic Container x4
Nayru's Love (Optional)
And that's about it! Oh, and I don't count the first sword as an item;)

Yes, use the Wand in Level 4. It would be well to throw a strong item in at this point in time. :)

Nah, I'll have it as the Blue Ring. I'll put the wand in Level 5 (which will be in a snow area;)).
And I'm not Canadian.

But why have one Dungeon item when you can have two? Heh, I put BOTH items in the dungeon;)

Set it up as a separate screen (doesn't have to be the same map) and place it on the screen you want using Data->Layers.
Layer 1&2: Below Link.
Layer 3&4: Above Link and Walking enemies but below fliers.
Layer 5&6: Above everything.
