Starting Shield

Okay, let's say you had the starting shield and you got caught by a Like-Like, thereby losing your shield. Since you can't get your shield back by defeating the Like-Like (because it was already eaten), how do you get the shield back? Is there a way to put it as an item you can buy in a shop?

Only Magical Shields are eaten.

Are you talking about the small shield--the one that can deflect arrows and rocks, but not Zora's fireballs? That shield cannot be eaten by Like Likes. Only the Level 2 shield--the Magic Shield can, but yes, you can make the Magic Shield available for sale in a shop. All you have to do is set up a shop and pick the Magic Shield as one of the items.

Yes, only the Magical Shields are eaten, not the Mirror one or the small one. But if you make the Mag. Shield available in a shop, make it kinda pricey. Or just skip the Mag. Shield, and go straight to the Mirror Shield.
