I need some help plz

When I open Zelda Classic v.2.10, it goes into fullscreen and then the screen turns black. The game is responding during the opening flames and stuff, but I can't see anything. I ran a couple of tests and I think it may be a problem with my computer's DirectDraw program, but I cant find how to correct it. Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this problem? :reading: :eyebrow:

Do you know if you have directx 9?

I have DirectX 9.0c, is that any different?

Zelda Classic still won't work. I tried disabling the Direct3d program, and still nothing is showing up when I open ZC. Please, someone help me figure how to fix this! :(

If your resolution is set to large it may cause a problem.
Running other programs at the same time, like anti virus programs may cause a problem.
in xp window blinds may cause a problem.

Ok, I get about turning off the anti-virus, but what of the Windows blinds and the resolution? And how do I toggle how to turn those off? :confused:

To lower your resolution you right click on the desktop and look in properties, I think.
as for window blinds, your on your own, I run windows 98
