help with Metroid XL-Remake

I just got the gravity suit.

I have no clue where to go next. Help please!

I bet you figured this out by now, but you have to go to the main area where you start first. Go all way to the north and use the grapple to get across the water. Then go though the door.

thanks, yeah, it took me a while to figure it out.

thing is, I already went there, but since the hatches looked different, I thought I needed the final beam or something to open it. turns out it was just a regular blue hatch.
