I am enjoying it so far. But I'm stuck in the passageway trying to find my way out of the village. I took the stairs and I end up at the top right end of the village and can't seem to get any further along the passageway. I can see it but can't figure out how to get to the other side.
Can you pm me with what I'm doing wrong so you don't spoil it for anyone else.

Thanks boram_c for the hint. Found my way to level 1 and 2. But I'm now stuck in level 3. I got the map for the 2nd floor even though I didn't finish the first floor. I found my way to the bottom left room on the map. There's a strange looking block that I can't get rid of using everything in my inventory. Haven't found a new treasure in this level yet so I figure I must have missed something on the first floor. I have the white sword and the blue boomerang and even bought a red potion so I came prepared. I aslo tried to bomb a block I think its 3 rooms up from start but it didn't break. What am I missing? :odd:

I did find one passage but I need a hook shot for it and it's only for a heart piece. Can you be more specific? I went thru all the trees around the lake shore. Bummer.

Stuck now in level 4 trying to figure out how to get what looks like a crown. I have the power bracelet but the blocks don't want to move. Also stuck finding the bait to get past the guy to the boss. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

I think I need a dunce hat because I can't find anything in Lake Town. Can someone PM me with the location of the raft. I can't go anywhere else without it. I bombed and burned all the big trees and even the statue. I just can't seem to find it although I'm sure it's something really easy. I'll just have to say it's an age thing when I find out where it is. :rolleyes:

The raft isn't in lake town. Its under a hidden tree that is burned on the lake island. The trees are hiding what you need to find.

Where might the power braclet be??? I'm stuck in level 4 and can't get past one room because two of the blocks won't move. Also hope the whistle is in this level or I'll be out looking for that also. Please help anyone.

Still looking for the red crystal in level 4 in order to get past that guy and to the boss of the level. I found myself in a room with what I think are 2 large Ganon statues. I have used the whistle and moved 2 blocks but still can't figure out what to do next in order to make a staircase or a treasure box to appear.

There are 2 rooms with ganon in them. 1 has the whistle, the other has the crystal. To get the crystal, make sure you are pushing the blocks the right way. I would imagine that you are in the right room ms_zelda_lady, you just need to push the blocks up and down on the corect sides. I'll give you this one. up on the right, down on the left. There is other that is similar that you will run into down the road. It's a different pattern. You'll have to get that on your own. :) :)

Boommaster: Remember the room with the chest in the middle you couldn't get to. Find a way to it.

I'm stuck in level 5 at the beginning room where you can hookshot over and go up thru the right door to give the guy the crystal. I can't figure out how to get the left side door of that room open. It leads to a staircase up and I figure the crystal probably in that upstairs area. I tried pushing the statues but that didn't work.
Any hints would be appreciated.

I have big trouble in lvl 4, found the bracelet and two keys, saw the crown but that is all. I miss a lot of keys and I'm stuck. where are all the keys and the wistle

Found lv3 and got thru all the floors except for the boss and the room with all the darknuts on the same floor. What do I get for killing the darknuts which are kicking my butt. Don't seem to be able to kill them. I just die die die. I do have the white sword but the statues keep getting me too. Blue Boomer? :)

I think that the room you're in has the crystal. Kill all the darknuts and then burn a block for a staircase to appear and its the red crystal. I know how you feel. I lost quite a few lives before getting through it. Make sure you have potions cause the boss is the 2 headed gleeok.
Now if only someone could tell me how to get through level 5.
Been stuck for almost a day and about ready to give up.

Have you tried walking thru walls? I can't tell you exactly where it is but I do remember walking thru a wall and finding it in a treasure box.
Hopefully you or Crackers will be able to finish level 4 and do level 5 in the hopes one of you can figure out what I can't so I can finally finish level 5.

Ms. Zelda,
Did you have the 2nd boomerang before L4 or perhaps get it there? It appears to be needed to procede in L4. I dead end in a room with three shield eaters with an "eye" that doesn't respond to arrows and is too far for the short boomerang.

It is the blue boomerang that you need. I bought the that boomerang from a hidden shop. Find a screen where they are 3 dodongos. I think it was in Lake shore or Lake town. Its not the screen in the wastelands. Kill the dodongos and push a bolder and there's a hidden shop that sells 3 boomerangs. The blue boomerang is the one I bought. Still haven't found the bigger bags so I couldn't buy the fire boomerang.
Boommaster kill all the enemies and try walking thru walls in every room.
I'm still stuck in level 5 and actually can't seem to go any further until either rocksfan13 or someone else can tell me what to do to get the right door open in the first room.

Yes I have the magic boomer and I was in that room once the blocks didn't look like that the first time i was there, I died and when I came back thats what it looked like.

Pauldoo: Hit the statue.

Devon: Find the walkthrough wall beyond aquamentus. It's on the south wall.

ms_zelda_lady: Follow those instructions from Devon. They are correct. To get there follow along the eastern side and look for what is an empty room. You should see the markings in there.

Nobody should be short keys in level 5. I couted and recounted. Go back in and try everything.

Thanks DeVon I finally got the crystal but I'm missing a key and quite frankly have had enough of level 5. So unless someone has kept track of all the rooms that have keys and can tell me where they are well..... I give up.
Devon will you tell me where level 6 is? I know I won't ever finish this quest but I'd like to see what level 6 is like.

P.S. Rocksfan13 I really like your quest but you might want to think about either putting in a key shop or using puzzles more in the rooms than needing keys.

There was a bug in this quest that I and my tester missed.

Level 5 was indeed short a key. If you are playing the old download, go back and download it again and you will not find yourself short a key in level 5.

Thanks for fixing it. Finally finished the dreaded level 5......LOL
But now I'm stuck in level 6 looking for the hammer. Came across a big treasure box on the 3rd floor, left side 2nd from the bottom but when I bombed the part of the wall up came those pegs you need to hammer down. Tried everything in my inventory but can't get past to open the treasure. Been exploring and everywhere I go I need the hammer in order to get anywhere. Please anybody with the solution let me know what I'm missing.

Get as close to the wall on the right as you can and inch over a little more until it lets you. It's there, you just haven't hit the right spot.

Crackers: If you have the boss key, go through the boss door, then open the chest. You may like what you find.

If not, look for the room that provides the down steps to reach it.

If you have the boots there is a room with lots of lynel in it and spikes. Look at the north wall.

Did you edit the map to show the new location of the missing key?

:cry: Please rocksfan13 or anyone else have a list of heart piece places. I have found my way to Skree and the graveyard but can't do anything until I can find 2 more heart pieces and get the next sword. I can see a heart pice surrounded by trees but haven't found the path to get it. I know where the sword is so that really isn't a problem. Checked out the beginning rooms of Forest Hole but can't figure out how to get rid of a block thats blocking a treasure box in the first room and a map in the second room. Been to the graveyard but again a block is keeping me from getting into a sword shop.
I figure without that sword I can't get any further so if anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

The item you need to remove those blocks is in level 7.

Been all around the level gotten as far as the boss door even though I have 2 keys they aren't for the boss door so I'm out of luck for opening it. Saved my game and used a key near the beginning that has an unlit candle in the top right part. Tried to light it but that didn't work. Tried everything in my inventory except the red bomb and never got it lit. I know its got nothing to do with the little wall on the left side cause I already got a key there earlier. Can't get the big treasure box. Blue block in the way. Hookshot and whistle wouldn't work so I figure I need a treasure to get the blue block away. Can't get the red blocks to go away either. So in my searching I missed the boss key somewhere and the treasure is probably behind the boss door. So where do I go next to get the boss key.
BTW rocksfan13 is I don't have to get that sword I saw its not a big deal if I don't find all the heart pieces. But you can be sure when I replay this quest and for sure I will, I will write down all the places I see heart pieces so I can get them next time.

If you found the room with the boss door, you're on the right track. You need to trigger the stairs in and take the path. If you find yourself in a room with a fire shooting statue in the middle, traps, stalfoses, and ropes, you're going the right way.

By the way the lamp is unlightable and the red blocks require the lvl 2 braclet.

As for hearts, I need to know which ones you have gotten already.

OK, allow me to be more explicit: In the screenshot posted by Pauldoo (the screenshot is of level 5 - second floor.) there is a room with bricks lining the bottom. in this room, link (oops, I mean zelda) is standing on the wall. It seems you might have mis-placed a blue or green squeare in that room.

What does the room look like? What does it have in it? Describe the room.

it is a green room, with a shutter door on the left side, a bombed door on the right, and a bombed door at the bottom. at the bottom of the room, there are 2 rows of blocks. in the lower left corner, there is an eyeball statue, and on the lower right, there is an unlit torch. the screenshot is kinda small so I can't make out the rest.

I think on the map it is this room (the one I X'd)

I found another major bug. I died while exploring the Lake Shore area and it brings me to screen 00 of the map. I can walk my way over to level 3, but I will remain stuck there until the continue square is put on the main land since I don't actually have the raft yet. You have to check either for your continue square or for the Dmap info to see what screen it's set to continue on. Great quest though!

Hmm... ok, I've looked at Ms Zeldalady's threads about that chest in Lvl 6. The one that has that bombable wall that magically turns into wooden pegs. I've been trying to decipher what y'all are saying about getting it. I've tried just about everything in my inventory. I was successful in obtaining the crystal (without the boots!) but can't seem to figure out how to get to the big chest on the 3rd floor. Found the room to the south of it with the blue darknuts and wall masters, but didn't see anything special in there. What did I miss? I still don't have the boots or the hammer. I have one key left thanx to the debugging of lvl 5.

I'd like to know that too, franpa. The instructions were "burn a tree in the prairie", but where's this prairie? I found some glasses but don't know what they are...don't remember what goes in that spot in the inventory.

Oops, accidentally found it. It's in the area after you walk through the waterfall, where I also found the glasses.

Help! Stuck in level 4. I'm in the room that the blocks are in a diamond shape. They are black until you use the boomer. You can only move 2 of them and there are four bottons.

Jaye and franpa: The glasses take the place of the amulet. Level 2 is a tree that stands with another and is two of any others that stand alone.

I am in level 7 and have made it to the 3rd and 4th floor. On the third floor there is a key room with a block in it I have moved it all over the place, but the door doesn't move.
On the 4th floor if you go to the keyed room on the right. You have to have the crystal.
If I go up there is a room with a big chest but I don't know how to get to it. The room on the right has a ledge I can't get too. If I go up there is a stairway that once you go thru and beat everything you get a bomb but you are stuck in the room. The walls don't bomb
you can't push thru them and you can't push the blocks to go back the way you came. Help!

On the 3rd floor there is a secret trigger other than the block. Try your inventory.

On the 4th floor which room are you refering to? You got me lost.
However, to get to the chest, you need to find a south walkthru wall.

Thanks rocksfan13 I found everything except a way to the chest. I have tried to push thru
every south wall on the 4th floor I can. The room to the right of the chest has a ledge with a door .I don't know how you get there and then push thru to the chest.

Blackbun you have to have the whistle to get to the crown. I would have to go back thru to remember where it is.

The boss key is down the stairs one room east of the boss door, which is accessed from the 2nd floor, southwest side.

I have burned bushes, rocks, statues, and several townspeople trying to find the raft at the Lake Shore. I found two places where you can get a heart piece, but no raft. I'm really enjoying this quest, but I seem to be stuck.

I'm sure I'm just being dumb, but if someone could help, please?

Also, I completed dungeon 2, but I noticed I had missed about three rooms according to the map. Is this a bad thing? lol

Man is this level 9 long. I'm stumped at a point on the 5th floor. I'm at the right part of the cross, and i see stairs but I cannot get to them is this the right way? Are these stairs accessibel from here? My only other option is to go to the room 3 to the left. In this room i get on a platform and get to a deadend. PLease help rocksfan, i feel like i'm close.

Also do you get the arrows on the 6th floor?

I also need you to be more specific on your location in the 5th floor. I can't help if I don't understand where you are. Yes I know it's long. How many heart pieces do you have?

There is a staircase that i can't reach i just wanted to know if it was accessible from here and if so how. To get here i killed 4 or five white "wizzrobes" and went south through a pass through.

Maybe i'm a little slow since no one else seems to have gotten stuck here, but i can't get past even the 2nd room in the 1st level. There's a chasm there and some skeletons and i can't find a way across. Is there an item I missed along the way?

I have the boomerang and a candle... i've been burnin bushes, placing bombs, and pushing on rocks all over the place and have been through every square on the map i can get to a few times....

ok i got like 3 more rooms into it and now i can't find either the large key or another little key and there's no other rooms left to get into. I did bomb my way into a room to get a map but i hit all statues everywhere with my sword and boomerang... even burned a bunch of stuff. There's a statue with a different colored eyeball in a room with 2 little ponds but i can't seem to do anything to it or the water.

I think i may be retarded. I can't believe i've already gotten stuck this many times.

okay, it showed me a cave and took all my bombs after I viewed the map screen. Is that the purpose of the glasses? I'm going to try to bomb it from the side.


[previous] I've done that. It takes me to the stump between two palms but I can't get anywhere with that either. I've burned it, shot it with an arrow, used the boomerang on it. Nothing happens. I killed all the bad guys on the screen, still nothing.

The key is on the 5th Floor. Thru boss door.

Red protection is on the 1st Floor. Not accessable until you've gotten to the boss.

You need to re-download the quest from the DB. There may have been an update since you've done it last as a result of level 5 being short a key.

As for the crystal in 6. Look for a lone statue beyond a bombed wall to the north after you get the boots.
