Half screen when install

Any suggestions on why I install the game on my windows XP and the game actually shows up twice on the screen, one on the top, and very distorted, mostly unreadable, on the bottem? Is this an XP thing?

If it's distorted, It could be your monitor adjuster controls. Try adjusting your monitor settings.
