Ladder???

How do I set up a gap on the overworld that can only be crossed by ladders?

I set one up in a dungeon, and it worked perfectly, but I tried making one on the overworld, and link doesn't cross. he just walk at the tile, and no ladder appears. I set the small river tile to "Ladder only".

Could someone point me in the right direction Please?

screen data - use ladder

As far as I know "use ladder" is on on dungeon/level dmaps by default, overworld dmaps need it set in the screen data.
