how do i make new quest templates? can you have one MIDI on one screen and have another MIDI on another screen on the same map? and lets say theres a ZELDA flag on screen 00 and a ZELDA flag on screen 01,can you make the end string different? like if you step on the one in 00 it says "you win!"
but the one in 01 says "you lose!". and can you make it so you dont have zelda next to you in the end string? also how do you make cut screens? sorry if any one is mad at me for all the stuff i ask.

This is the place to ask such things.

To make quest templates you do File->Export->Quest template.
Midis, ambience etc. are determined by dmap. Dmaps are a very important concept in ZC. A dmap is linked to a map but a map can have several dmaps. When you play it's the dmap, not the map that sets the music / title / ambience / minimap etc. Quest -> Dmaps then create one and give it a map, title etc. Check the example quest that comes with zelda classic, several levels are on one map but they use different dmaps. Use side / tile warps to change the dmap, e.g. on screen 00 you could set a bottom side warp to screen 10 dmap 1 and the dmap (MIDI etc.) would change.

There's only one ending you can have but you can warp to any screen and put any string you like anywhere in a quest - use warps, not zelda flags. I recommend you do this for your "lose" room.

I learnt my ZC basics from here (http://www.zcworld.net/filemanager/Users/LTM/Tutorial/Page00.htm) and here (http://happyman.purezc.com/uzqt/index.php?page=p1s1) and can recommend both sites. The example quest is a good place so look how things are done too. But don't hesitate to post more questions I'll gladly answer them if I can.

Cutscenes are a more advanced topic and I never made any myself, I think the tutorials say something though.

Freedom has an excellent tutroial on how to do cutscenes. Look around the threads and see if you can find it somewhere, because I don't remember where it is.

Tutorials I know of and find good include
LTM's (http://www.zcworld.net/filemanager/Users/LTM/Tutorial/Page00.htm)
Happyman's (http://happyman.purezc.com/uzqt/index.php?page=p1s1)

but the best in my opinion is still Alphadawg's. Unfortunately I don't think it's online anymore, but I have it as a zip. I could send it to anyone that wants - just PM me. (Or post if you find it online anywhere).
