cant acess subscreen

hey guys, maybe im just doing something wrong, but cant acsess the subscreen to see my inventory. Its the beta version. The key for map is set as space bar but when i press it, nothing happens. Oh yeah im running XP. Also is there a search function for the forums? i couldnt find one. im pretty sure any probs i have, have probably been covered before. Thanks.

thanks, i feel pretty stupid. but then what does the map button do?

On certain quests, the map button will bring up a detailed map of the area. BUT YOU SHOULD NOT USE IT!!! using the map apparently sets off all the secret cobos of the map, which could screw up the game. unless it was fixed already. Freedom? can you shed some light on this?

(I'm exxagerating, but still, I am not using the map)

In the 183 player, viewing the map the second time crashes the program.
In the 184 player it seems to work fine, I don't remember it triggering secrets.
In the 2.10 viewing the map with secret combos flagged on a layer causes them to trigger on that screen, if the screen has no secret combos it works fine.

Well, I guess I don't need to worry too much, I'm using 2.10.

the map onlyrevaels secrets on the screen you view the map from, right?
