Bomb Hold Fix???

What exactly is the Bomb Hold Fix? I've turned it on, but can't find any effect from it.

Without it, when the screen flag "Hold up Item" or Link buys a bomb from a shop, Link won't hold up a bomb. With this rule checked, Link will hold up the bomb like he does every other item with those two previous conditions.
