Help with PS2 memory card expansion...

A long time ago I bought a PS2 16MB memory expansion card and I never used it. EVER. I have the fear that it might erase all of my saved game files.

Can somebody please tell me seriously that if it would delete my saved games?

Personally I only use official memory cards, but I can see no reason whatsoever why this would erase your old saves. My only concern would be if you removed the expansion card and used the original memory card on it's own, but that's probably covered in the manual (if there is one). If you want to be totally safe, buy a new memory card and use that with it - they're not all that much.

I am confused. You say that you never used it, but then ask how to perserve what you saved to it. :confuse2:

I don't know what type of storage it is but I assume magnetic. Just keep it away from magnets if that is the case....
