how to change colors

ok i know how to change the colors like as in pressing 1 2 and 3 and stuff but it says to press the minus sign and plus sign to change just like the tile colors but there is a problem i have a laptop and the only plus and minus i have is at the number s on the top
ex there is 1234567890-+ at the top of the keyboard but i dont have the

789
thing at the right of my keyboard because i have a laptop
so how would i fix this

If your laptop fas a FN or NUMLOCK or similar button (most do) you can press it with some other buttons to send a +/- keypress. Otherwise you're really out of luck - you could buy an external USB keypad, though. Or find some program to reassign keys. I'd be surprised though if you laptop didn't have some way of using numpad keys.

Yeah, it's FN usually. Check the manual if you're not sure.
