View Full Version : Found out how to take away the word -life-!!!!!

1)go to graphics>misc colors.
2)set the Caption the same color as the subscreen background.

That is all, what do you think?

Doesn't that also black out the rupee counter?

Yeah, um ... Dlbrooks, do I need to copy and paste the PM you sent me? Are you trying to take credit for something I did? Hell, I don't even remember that working right! :odd: Besides, that tileset wasn't even designed to BE an independent tileset. I thought I made that clear when I uploaded it. >_<' grr.. 1)no it wont mess up the rupee counter

2)Britain, you told me to change the 'text' and when i did, everything messed yo the map name didn't show, rupess, keys, bombs, superbombs. I messed with everything else until i came across 'caption' i changed that to the subscreen color and it worked.

Well that's just what messing with things does. :p Best to have a backup of everything that you do before we go experimenting with things. XD Actually, it's probably best to have a few backups of everything before you do anything. :odd: You just never know, really.

so, did you try it change the color of caption and test it to see if -life- goes away?

It does work, but more importantly, so does "triforce". :D Useful for non-Zelda quests.

Well, I basically already knew all of this, but I usually just keep the words there but change the color, because it looks better with the life there in my opinion.
