Currently, it's going for $2,025.01 with 4 days and 18 hours left. Any predictions as to what it'll actually go for?

I can't say that I would pay a penny of that. George Lucas isn't that great of a writer/director.

actully with all the changes and shit he is doing to the originals im losign respect for him.. leave em the way they were! that was the best way! Like now the new edition doesnt even have that little ewok song at the end of the return of the jedi! *Sigh* quit fucking with what is good lucas!

Yeah, I'd say the replica is worth more without his signature.

I'd give my soul (if I had one) and a bazillion dollars (if I had that too) for this thing!!

You don't have a soul? Have you tried checking the lost-and-found?

It's no use, I've already sold most of it and gave the rest away.

A replica lightsaber is pretty cool, but I realy wouldn't want the man's signature on it. It's pretty impressive what these things will go for. I can't remember who said it, but I think this quote sums him up pretty well.

George Lucas made three great films once, and has spent the rest of his career trying to ruin them.

Like DM, I'd rather have the lightsaber. The signature is just kinda a little bonus thing. I mean, it would be pretty awesome to have your own lightsaber.

I can think of better things on which to spend $3000.

oh, I'd imagine this thing would go well beyond $10,000. it's Star Wars merchandise, for crying out loud!

Whoever wins the auction is a fucking moron.

Yeah, winning a one of a kind collector's piece with a very famous director's signature is retarded. Plus, it's for a kids charity. Who the fuck cares about kids?

Meh. I don't need one anyway. I've got my own. And it really works, unlike this hunk of junk. What good is a lightsaber if it can't kill Jedi? Bah!

Actually, it would look pretty damn sweet on my mantlepiece. If I only had that much money to spend...
