I have a challenge for y'all! :D
See how fast you can beat Emerald Hill Zone Act 2. Post your result here.

My fastest: 53 sec. The trick is to get the speed shoes on the ledge to get to Robotnik fast.

Ha! No chance. I'm no speed demon. I can, however, finish the game without losing a single life. That's got to count for something, surely.

EDIT: And I don't mean with just Sonic. I can totally finish the game with Knuckles as well. And that's really tricky, cause on that end boss (after Metal Sonic) Knuckles doesn't bounce off when you hit him, he flies straight through, making it MUCH harder to beat. Watch those pointy claws now!

I remember doing it just barely on 50 seconds. Esp. since the time still flies even after those animals are trying to leave their cage at the end of the level. I only managed to do that once though.

So far, I've managed to shave my time down to 45 seconds.

EDIT: Down to 43 seconds now.
