I think Bs is tranparent and normal is not

BS transforms into the combo to the right of it (I don't know where this would be useful, but I didn't play BS Zelda.)

Not really. Think of playing the original LoZ and running around the graveyards. You wanted to get a ghost to come out of every grave, right? But you had to try and make sure you touched every one. If BS graves change into the next combo, then you can turn them from gray to black or something and make it easy for the player to tell which ones he or she has already touched.
