The Legend of the three elements

If there's anyone out there that has played XDragonSB's quest "the Legend of the Three Elements" could you tell me how to get to the Southern 9 rooms of the basement? There is a room with a keyed door in the Northern part of the basement but it just goes to a set of stairs that go nowhere and has NO treasure. I'm looking for the Boss Key and can't figure out how to get to these rooms. If you haven't played this quest it pretty cool. It's at "PureZC.com"

I also need help, sometimes when you open a door with a keyy, the lock just turns upsidedown.

Maybe when the lock turns upside down you need to put another key in to make it dissapear!
