A few Sprites I created...

[Superstrider]

A while back, I designed some Pokémon Furry Characters (Don't Laugh) for a manga series I was thinking about creating... However, that fell through when I began work on Sonic RPG. But, I did develop some sprites of a few characters by editing some Sonic Battle Sprites. Here they are listed:

The sprites are utterly phenominal. It takes serious talent to be able to do that. I have nothing I'd like to see changed about them. Really good job, Superstrider. :)

Good job for recolors/frankensteins. I used to sprite myself. I never really got to the point of totally creating sprites from scratch. Mine were pretty much just frankensteins or recolors too. I might post mine someday.

I don't normally approve of editing sprites in that manner, because they normally look cheap and nasty. You, my good sir, are the exception to the rule. Quite, quite excellent.

Anthony - as are mine. I just can't seem to get started without a base to work from. Maybe I'll upload some images from them in a bit.

I guess people don't normally see sonic edits, because they are just mediocre. There isn't any noticable shading on the parts you added, and I think we can just admit that it is mostly just recoloring/splicing.

Give it another try on some other bases, and come up wtih a creative concept. It probably won't take long before you will be making some stratch pixelations :)

I based them all off of Mega Man sprites, obviously. Yeah, so those are mine.

That is most definately Squall. Irvine, Zell, and Shadow are in there too. The other ones are just custom characters...or the one sprite I did of me. A self portrait sprite if you will.

I may use them for RPG Maker, but that won't be for at least a year. (I'm working on Sonic RPG now.)

I make sprites all the time.. or .. "pixel art" I hate calling it that though.. it just sounds too dainty.. your sprites are pretty nice :D good job there ^_^
