Is it possible to convert quests or at least the export files made by ZQ 1.00 to at least 1.90 so ZC 2.10 can load them?
I've tried figuring out the formats of some of 1.00's export files, but don't know how I could convert them to 2.10's format. Is there a way to do this?

I want to do this because I made a little test quest up to Level 8, and I want to convert it to work on it in 2.10 so it won't need to be played in 1.00, which is kind of buggy.

Hmm, I'm really not sure, but try exporting them & reimporting them in 1.84, then 1.90, 1.92, and finally 2.10. It's probably the safest way.

BTW, about Winamp. I'm pretty sure that by default, Winamp and ZC use the same output, which prevents Winamp from playing when you're using Zquest. To fix it, go into Preferences, click Output, and set plugin to WaveOut. That should solve your problem ;)

The importing/exporting to the next highest version seems to have worked, except for the few minor things i was expecting, since 1.00 lacked secret combos, and used tiles from the template screen instead. ( Worth fixing this instead of having to put up with the old 'Enemy Freeze Game' bug and not being able to use the monsters i wanted to )
Also, thanks for the tip on getting Winamp to work with ZQ. It fixed the problem.

Can you not open the 1.00 quest with 2.10? Compatability may not be perfect, since so much has been changed since then, but 2.10 should at least open the quest. If not, that's something we need to work on.
